ABOUT ZACH MERCK
I live for adventure. As a filmmaker, I work tirelessly to find unique, authentic stories, amazing musicians, and interesting people that take me to the far corners of our planet.
It’s a challenging concept that keeps me searching, discovering, and learning to find the truth within the idea, ultimately crafting entertaining pieces of art that are equally engaging and fun as they are memorable.
Music has been a significant part of my life as far back as I can remember, so it was only natural that I found my way into the music videos. Those early punk shows paved the way to working with artists as varied as Muse, Bad Religion, Michael Franti, Dropkick Murphy’s, Cherub, NEYO, and the unbelievable Celine Dion, just to name a few.
I simply love music, and I think there is an undeniable excitement working and creating in various genres.
Beyond music, I have directed successful commercial campaigns, short and long form branded content for both the web and television, television shows and series, and feature length documentary films.
My evolving resume includes seminal work for Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Cadillac, Ram Trucks, GMC Trucks, the Air Force, Travelocity, and Dominos, along with ABC, NBC, Fox, Discovery Channel, and National Geographic.
